Harley the beagle just chillin

Harley is always getting in to things especially when we are not paying attention to him lol I could stay home with him all day and the moment I sit down to complete a project he comes around the corner and throws his toys at me till I stop and play with him.

I always feel there is a set of eyes on me and there is it is Harley lol take a look he hides and chills but as soon as I move his little eyes open up. It’s so funny and he is so stubborn he knows when I am trying to take a picture of him and now he won’t look at me even when I call his name lol

Now another question I have is why does every interactive toy have a beagle in the picture lol

DIY countertops

I have some scratches on my kitchen countertop and have always wanted to upgrade my countertops but they are very expensive and was looking online for some options and came across this idea of Gianni granite and looks from the reviews that it is a great product.
I plan of getting some in the near future so we can start painting those counter tops.

The pictures above are of the steps you need to complete with Gianni granite countertops but I don’t want to mess them up since they will have to last a few more years to get us through

Help the hounds

I posted last night about a beagle rescue that has a few dogs in need of heartworm treatments because they are heartworm positive. The MAJOR case they have is Jacqueline who needs a surgery to amputateher leg and he vets said it would cost around $1600 that is without complications but the rescue doesn’t have the funds and I am not sure how long he dog has been in pain and needing surgery but it has to

Vintage and Shabby Chic Decor

I have seen so many cute displays using vintage items in alot of stores these days. It takes me back because I see things that I know my grandparents had in their home.

I love some of the modern uses people have for vintage and shabby chic items.
I create alot of crafts and gifts but along with that I also sell vintage and shabby chic items that I think are in great condition and that someone else may have a need for.

I have seen pictures milk glass items such as vases, planters, etc used in so many ways like business card holders, desk organizers, flowers, plants, succulents, paper clip holders, pen holders, a catch all in the foyer area for keys and spare change, in the laundry room to place anything anyone in your home leaves in the pockets, candy dishes and so much more.

I am sure u can come up with some creative ideas yourself for these items and would love for you to leave your comments on what u do with your vintage items. What colors do u like or would like to purchase?

Laundry Sorting

I am very particular about my laundry. After all, I only use The Laundress.

I made these labels for the three laundry baskets in the laundry room in the hopes that all family members will chose these over the floor. What can I say, they are idiot-proof.

All you need is a laminator, a hole punch, paper and some attractive raffia or string and then hopefully, nothing is left to chance.
