Our big move is in just a few days (!), and while we’re definitely excited about the new apartment, there are a few things we’ll miss about our old place in Philly—one of them being the great view. Unfortunately, we only have a few windows in our new place (and they don’t exactly look out onto the most sweeping views of the city), so I’ve been searching for some ways to bring the outdoors in to make our apartment feel a little less, well, apartment-y.

Enter succulents. Not only are they bright and beautiful, but they’re pretty long-lasting and low-maintenance, which is exactly what this non-green thumb needs. And since just any old succulent planter won’t do, I’ve been looking around for inspiration to create my own. And no surprise here: I found plenty of it! From dip-dyed and glittered planters to painted and out-of-the-box ones, I’ve rounded up eight DIY succulent planters…
